NEWS STORY 1

NEW VACUUM PUMP SAVES N 4.8 MILLION YEARLY.
The invention of the vacuum pump has indeed been a great development in Nigeria. The vacuum pump machine, which is used for crude oil extraction, has immensely helped in the aspect of oil extraction.
The concept is now applicable to people in the oil industry  because the Vacuum Pump is used to create the Vacuums in large  tanks or pressure vessels and able to transfer waste from  whatever location you want to get from and this will have no contact with the pump itself at any point.
As a result, the pump life span is increasing immensely from 6 months to 1 year period maximum you can get as high as 5 years life span from the pump and the only thing that might need changing at any point in time is the Vanes and also replacing of the oil in the pumps.
The vacuum pump indeed has helped in cost savings of the equipment as the scent fuga pumps which is majorly used in Nigeria for crude oil extraction require 1.3 million naira to change, and it will be changed 4 times in a year which is 4.8 million naira to change because of the crude oil extraction the corrosion will cause an imbalance in the scent fuga pump, which requires change at intervals and will need to be changed every 3 months but with this new vacuum pump it’s cost effective.
The Vacuum Pump is now being used by oil industries like WRPC (Warri Refining And Petrochemicals Corporate LTD), NNPC (Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation).
